General Information
- Official Spring Fling activities will be held on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, 2012.
- The theme for 2012 is “Fling Never Tasted So Sweet." Official Fling T-shirts are on sale 11am-4pm M-F on Locust Walk (next to Concert ticket sales).
- Quad activities will be held on Friday and Saturday from 12pm-6pm. Activities in the Quad include live music from Penn and local bands on two stages, delicious food vendors, fun inflatables, and more!
- The Fling Concert will be held on Friday, April 13 from 8pm-11pm in Franklin Field.
- The Carnival will be held on Saturday from 8pm - midnight. Free food and music for all.
Concert Ticketing Information
- The artists have requested that NO GLOW STICKS be allowed in the venue.
- Floor
Passes (wristband tickets) are all distributed.
- A limited number of General
Admission tickets from each section will be available for purchase on Locust Walk 11am-4pm M-F. These tickets are for those students who wish to avoid the online service charge.
- PRICES: There are three categories which attendees fall under
- 1. Penn undergrads can purchase up to 2 floor tickets. All floor passes have been distributed.
- 2. Penn undergrads and grads can purchase up to 4 general admission tickets for $35 each, cash on the Walk or credit card online.
- 3. All other persons can purchase up to 4 general admission tickets for $50 each, cash on the Walk or credit card online.
- ALL: When purchasing tickets online, persons should make sure to use their "on-campus"/Philadelphia shipping address (not their billing address).
- CONCERT ATTENDANCE POLICY
- Age policy - students attending the concert must be:
- A guest of a PennCard holder (with guest pass) OR
- General admission seating by sections:

It is recommended that students purchase tickets in advance to ensure
preferred seating. More details available online and at ticket table on
Locust Walk. Does not apply to floor access tickets.
- Show Information
- Doors
open at 7 PM. The show will begin at 8 PM.
- All
students must have either a PennCard or photo ID to enter the concert.
- Entrances
will be designated for the general admission entrance and floor pass
entrance.
Guest Pass Information
- Non-Penncard holders MUST have a guest pass to enter the Quad from 5PM Thursday, April 12 to 10 AM on Sunday, April 15. This includes students who live in the Quad who want to have non-Penn students stay in their room over the weekend.
- If your guest is under the age of 18, he/she MUST have a guest pass to enter the Friday night concert held in Franklin Field, even if he/she does not plan on entering the Quad at all during the weekend.
- You must first register for guest passes online. Guest passes are $20. Each PennCard holder is limited to two guest passes.
- Guest passes may be picked up outside of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA - 2nd floor, Houston Hall) from 10am-4pm, M-F. You must have your printed confirmation sheet from the online registration to collect your pass. Cash only.
- There are a limited number of guest passes available, and all sales will stop on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Guest passes are not required for attendance at the Carnival on Saturday evening.
